Organized a two-day downhill longboarding race recruiting over 100 riders from the U.S. and Canada. Event was so successful in 2013 and 2014 that it was repeated in 2015.

Established relationships with the township, town sheriff, road commission office, paramedics, attorneys, local businesses as well as residents in order to ensure the events ran smoothly.

Promoted events in the longboard community resulting in support from 35 sponsors who donated gear that was awarded to the competitors.

Marketed this event through social media and secured space in two of the top longboarding magazines in the world.

Promoted the events in major cities across Michigan, including features in the local newspapers, and television stations.

Created and submitted a proposal to create an official Longboarding Registered Student Organization at Central Michigan University. Obtained approval, and recruited leaders and members through social media and flyers.

Organized, promoted and hosted two push races as well as two downhill races resulting in increased organizational skills. As a result, I was invited to join an elite group of 37 longboarders in the Midwest region.
